Prevent Child Abuse America and Healthy Families America will be hosting The National Conference for America's Children on May 18-21, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville, FL. Make a reservation today!

Each day will feature a plenary speaker to open the conference and several workshops throughout the day. There's something for everyone within these workshops, including those interested in public policy, home visiting, marketing, infant mental health, fundraising and many more. Plenary speakers include:

Dr. Bruce D. Perry - who's work with infant  mental health speaks to the need for urgency in the prevention of child abuse and neglect. His discussion is sure to excite and inform all in attendance as to how we can all have a positive impact in the healthy development of children in the communities in which we live and across the nation.


Robin Karr-Morse - a family therapist who served for more than 20 years in Oregon's education and child welfare systems has now drawn on the latest science in psychology, biology, neurology and genetics to write two popular books that take readers inside the reality of early development.


Emily Ballance - a Licensed Professional Counselor and nationally recognized speaker who offers a unique and humorous perspective on the challenges of work and life. 

Dr. David Willis - the Director of the Division of Home Visiting and Early Childhood Services within the Federal Health Resources and Services Administration. His work and wisdom will surely be appreciated by all those who work in or around home visiting.




We will be adjourning each day at 5:00pm which leaves plenty of time to discover Jacksonville! Check out the food, entertainment and shopping in the area.
